Request to hear your sector skills views for the future relevance to your business

Dear Colleague,

Business West in the Local Skills Improvement Plan Team are seeking to inform on the future skills and training needs of the workforce in West of England, Swindon & Wiltshire, and Gloucestershire Regions,

As a brief overview, the LSIP is a research project funded by the Department for Education, with a primary goal to ensure post-16 technical education and career pathways are aligned with the region’s workforce needs. They are providing businesses a unique opportunity to have their say which will help shape provision going forwards. The LSIP works collaboratively with employers, training providers and local stakeholders to help create meaningful change.

I know your time is so valuable, but I invite you to take part in a 1-2-1 informal interview to take place on MS Teams and last approximately 45 minutes. Our Business Engagement Team will run through a set of questions to guide the discussion. There's no right or wrong answer, and everything you say remains anonymous. During the 1-2-1, we will also guide you to local resources, skills provision which may match your business needs.

Please use this link to book an interview directly into my business engagement colleagues diary to suit your availability or reply to this email.
