Our Consultancy Services Include:

Supporting providers to ‘Meet Standards ‘ - we can help you respond to recommendations from CQC, local authority inspection reports, or audits. We can work with your and/or your team to facilitate change and ensure action planning targets are achieved.

Support for providers rated ‘Inadequate’ - this can be a very difficult and pressurised time. Our role is to work alongside the provider attend meetings with CQC, help the provider to understand exactly what CQC are looking for, and help them develop and implement the necessary changes required to improve and maintain their rating.

Chasing payment from commissioning authorities - we can help you chase commissioning authorities to pay late invoices, send us the details and we will use our network of contacts to speed up a payment where possible.

Mock CQC Inspections - this service offers a CQC style inspection to assess what you have in place to ensure compliance across all areas. Rather than focusing on ‘finding fault’, these Independent Service Reviews (ISRs) are an opportunity to work together to look at your situation and the challenges you face and where necessary to identify and develop solutions. This service includes a full report and action plan for improvements, we can also make available (or create where appropriate) documents and templates that would help promote and evidence compliance ahead of further inspection.

Support to challenge CQC reports - if you are unhappy with your CQC report and feel that it is factually inaccurate then we can provide both a sounding board and if appropriate help you structure your response. 

Expert HR training and support - we have senior-level experience in a range of HR topics and tasks and regularly deliver training on subjects such as safer recruitment, equality, inclusion and diversity, disciplinary procedure, conflict management, leadership, management, and strategic planning. Targeted Intervention Workshops - bespoke training to your staff team to support particular goals and objectives, or to respond to particular challenges, areas of conflict, or areas of improvement.

Support with Provider Information Returns (PIRs) - if you are struggling to ‘do yourself justice’ in your PIR and are feeling time-pressured, then we have experience in completing PIRs for both our own related organisations as well as others.

Support to develop CQC actions plans - if you need support with developing your CQC action plan following an inspection, then we can also provide you with practical support around this.

Independent Investigations - if you have an issue that needs investigating and you need someone with senior-level experience of doing this and/or someone who is independent, then this is something Care and Support west can support you with. 

Chairing Disciplinary or Appeal Hearings - if you need someone with experience in chairing Disciplinary Hearings or Appeal Hearings in order to free up your staff to perform other roles within your disciplinary process, then this is also something we can help you with.
