Cost Pressures Survey 2019-2020

Please can you help us represent your cost pressures as fully as possible

We are in the process of preparing our annual cost pressures representation on behalf of Care and Support West members to the 4 ex Avon local authorities. There are a lot of potential squeezes on your costs … including National Minimum / Living Wage pressures, the cost of effective staff recruitment and retention, inflationary pressures, pension costs, costs associated with regulatory compliance …

 We always seek to understand what your cost pressures are and as part of this we want to consult more formally with our members so that we can present a more evidence based position. You can download the Cost Pressures questionnaire HERE

 It won’t take long

Its relatively brief and filled out by someone who has the information to hand, it shouldn’t take that long (half an hour?). The more information the better, but if you don’t have the relevant information we would rather have the questionnaire back with gaps rather than not at all.

Assuring your confidentiality

Just to assure you that all information obtained via this survey will be treated confidentially. We are looking to establish and report on a general picture (with an evidence base to do this from) rather than the specific circumstances of any individual organisation or service.

 Timeframe

In terms of timeframe, we are looking to get our Cost Pressure report out to the local authorities sometime in the w/c 16th December. If you could therefore get the completed questionnaire back to David Smallacombe or Mik Alban on mik.alban@careandsupportwest.com by 10th December, that will give us the time we need to compile the report.
