Care Under the Rainbow: New Learning Resources on Inclusivity for Older and LGBT people
In May this year Bristol University launched a new learning resource online for care home staff and managers – ‘Care under the Rainbow’: a free resource online that contains short digital films and learning materials (case studies, practice guidelines, do’s and don’ts) about making care homes more inclusive for older LGBT+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans) people. This was a joint project between the Diversity Trust and the University of Bristol, funded by the University. You can view the website here: https://www.diversitytrust.org.uk/careunderrainbow/
If you have visited the website and used some of the films and other learning materials we would really value your feedback on how you and other staff working in your home/s have found it - we have a few quick questions online (no more than 6 questions). Please click here or follow this link:
https://sps.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/care-under-the-rainbow-feedback-from-care-home-managers We would really value your time and feedback if you had a few minutes to complete this online.
If you don’t work in care home, we would still value your feedback.
If you haven't visited the website yet or heard about the project please check it out!
