Invitation: Every Door Open Event 1 December – Drug & Alcohol HIT

You are invited to join us at the upcoming Every Door Open event, focusing on how we can change our culture to achieve something different in terms of the care or services that we provide. A co-produced, sustainable, psychologically and trauma informed Every Door Open community approach that we can all sign up to.

We know there are gaps in service currently e.g. across physical or mental health, substance use, autism, ADHD, learning disability or social care. So, this event is for anyone who has experienced ‘the gaps’ and wants to work together to change this.

Register now.

To find out more about Every Door Open, please see:

We are delighted to be welcoming as our guest speaker Professor Dame Carol Black GBE, the UK government’s independent advisor on drugs. Find out more in the attached flyer, which also includes details on how to register.

We aim to evaluate the event so we can understand what was most and least helpful, if attendees think our culture needs to change to achieve an every door open approach, and if so, how.  We also hope to publish the results (without including the names/organisations of any participants) if we can, so others can learn about/from our work. Please see the consent form within the Eventbrite; we warmly invite you to be part of the evaluation.

Please do share the invitation with those who may be interested in joining. Get in touch with any questions: noreen.ryan@bristol.ac.uk.

Best wishes from The Every Door Open Group
