Learning from SARs - Care Providers Discussion

  • Care and Support West Gladstone Drive Bristol, England, BS16 4RU United Kingdom (map)

This webinar will focus on the Institute of Public Care (IPC)  new discussion paper 'How Can Care Providers Learn from Safeguarding Adult Reviews'.   The discussion paper identifies issues that may be relevant for adult social care providers from a review of 60 recently published Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SARs).

In response to a need for a clear mechanism to share relevant learning from Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SARs) with care providers, this discussion paper, attempts to prompt discussion on whether (and how) there should be a national mechanism to identify and share with care providers the most relevant learning from SARs.

The  Institute of Public Care (IPC) is part of Oxford Brookes University.  IPC provides  applied research and evaluation, consultancy, and training to help NHS trusts, government bodies, councils, charities and commercial organisations make a positive impact on people’s health and wellbeing.

This is a free Zoom webinar.
