SGS College is delighted to be collaborating with Business West Chambers of Commerce to deliver a joint Employer Conference for key regional stakeholders and would welcome your attendance.
The conference will focus on how Colleges must meet employer needs and how you can help shape what we deliver to provide your future workforce, plus an overview of the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) and how it will benefit employers, communities and localities that we serve.
There is also the opportunity for attendees to partake in 2 targeted breakout sessions on key topics of interest.
The programme for the day is outlined below:
9am-9.30am - Registration, coffee and networking
9.30am-10am – Welcome, plus overview of SGS business engagement, themes of employer survey / panel findings and changes made to provision as a result, so we have employment ready learners
10am-10.30am – Presentation on main Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) themes and next steps
10.30am-10.45am – An employer and apprentice's view
10.45am-11am – Break
11am-11.40am – Breakout session 1
11.45am-12.25pm – Breakout session 2
12.30pm – 1.15pm – Lunch and networking
