Employ nurses? Join this free session with the NMC & Skills for Care

Do you employ nurses or manage nursing teams within adult social care?

Join Care & Support West on Thursday 22 October, 10:00–11:30am for a free online session with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and Skills for Care.

This is a valuable opportunity to hear directly from the NMC about the support available to adult social care employers and nursing teams through its Employer Link Service – including access to local advisors, practical guidance and free resources.

We'll cover:

  • How the NMC Employer Link Service can support you and your nursing teams

  • The NMC Code and what it means in practice

  • Fitness to Practise and managing concerns

  • Free NMC support, resources and opportunities to get involved

  • Local adult social care nursing workforce insights

  • Support around preceptorship and nursing placements

  • Nursing education forums, networks and accreditation opportunities

We'll be joined by Caroline Holt from the Nursing & Midwifery Council and Keryn Morris from Skills for Care, with time at the end for your questions.
