Nursing placement strategy event

Following the launch of the first-ever placement strategy for social care nursing in July, Skills for Care in partnership with the Council of Deans Health will be hosting an online event to help link local stakeholders and explore how together we can support social care to become a placement of choice for all student nurses and nursing associates.

Nursing placement strategy: Connecting locally to meet the recommendations of the strategy

Wednesday 10 September | 13:00 – 15:00 | Online

Skills for Care in partnership with the Council of Deans Health launched the first-ever placement strategy for social care nursing in July, marking a major step in recognising social care as a valued part of nursing education.

This online follow up event aims to bring together local social care providers, universities and colleges in the same region to explore how the recommendations of the strategy can be implemented so together we can make social care a placement of choice for all student nurses and nursing associates.

There will be regional breakout groups, Q&A session and panel questions with key stakeholders involved in nursing education and care provision.
