HMG News: Autumn Budget 2025
The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves, has delivered her 2025 Autumn Budget.
Building on the capital health settlement announced at the 2025 Spending Review, this Budget delivers an additional £300 million of capital for NHS technology and commits to 250 new Neighbourhood Health Centres.

Recent fiscal announcements include a freeze on prescription charges at £9.90 for 2026–2027, the rollout of 250 Neighbourhood Health Centres, and reforms to the Soft Drinks Industry Levy to encourage lower sugar content in pre-packaged drinks.
