Care Awards Gala Dinner 2026
Thursday 1st October from 5:30pm
Just a few weeks to go now until we open our doors to the Care Awards 2026. Are you ready?! Here's what you need to know before arriving, so please read on. Otherwise, we hope you have a fantastic evening celebrating all your hard work 👏
Dress Code
Celebratory formal dress or black tie :)
(which usually means dinner suit or smart attire)

Tickets
You are not required to bring a ticket to the event, please be assured that we’ve got your name on our guest list!
Parking Instructions
For any guests that are driving, please pay for parking upon arrival. Pay machines are located next to the coffee shop at the Winterstoke Rd entrance or at the Media entrance (Ashton Gate drop off parking is free for 30 minutes).
Pre-order Your Drinks
You can pre-order your drinks before the evening, link to order online coming soon!
Contactless Bar
The venue operates a cashless bar, so please bring cards and/or payment devices. On the night there will be a Wine/Drinks Preorder Assistant in the Sports Bar, payment will need to be made on ordering. The drinks will be on your table when you arrive in the Lansdown Suite.
Your Table Number
Please check your table number on our plan here in advance and share it with your guests. Place cards with names will be on the tables. If you can't find your number, please don't worry we will have a list on the night too!
Raffle & Nominated Charity
There will be a raffle on the night to raise money for the Care Workers Charity, please bring £5 cash on the night to enter - with thanks.

Timings
Please arrive at 5:30pm for a complimentary glass of prosecco in the Sports Bar (Ground Floor)
Planned timings for the remainder of the evening:
6:30pm: Call for dinner (to Landsdown Suite, 2nd Floor)
7:00pm: Seated for dinner
7:15pm: Introduction from Care & Support West & first round of awards
8:00pm: Dinner is served
10:00pm: Final round of awards
10:30pm: Awards ceremony completed with group photos
10:50pm: Closing words and entertainment
11:20pm: Disco commences
12:30pm-1am: Carriages await
The Care Workers’ Charity (CWC) is dedicated to supporting the social care workforce, those providing care and support to the million+ people drawing on social care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the “Clap for Carers” campaign brought the contributions of care workers into the national spotlight. We believe that care workers deserve recognition, support, and advocacy for the vital work they do every day. Our mission revolves around three key pillars: crisis support, mental health initiatives, and advocacy for fair treatment, pay, and recognition.

Open WiFi internet will be available for everyone to access. Details of how to join will be found on your table.
Photography
A photographer will be taking stills and video on the night, if you would prefer to opt out, please make yourself known to the photographer directly on the night.
