One of the actions from that meeting was that providers raised issues with accessing the Oliver McGowen Tier 2 training, please see below information.

• Tier 1 (online webinars) are due to be rolled out March 2024, these are for non-client facing staff.

• Tier 2 (full day face to face) sessions are already running. You can book your tickets here: https://buytickets.at/nhsbnssg Spaces are limited, and most sessions are full until 31st March 24. We will open the next tranche of bookings around end of Feb 24, for session dates covering April – June 2024. We are planning to upscale delivery from April as we recruit more trainers.

• If any providers have a large training venue we can use, we can reserve a protected number of spaces for the organisation.

• All staff need to complete the e learning (available on E learning for Health) prior to booking onto a session.

• As the requirement is for CQC registered providers to complete the training, the training (at present) is for adult social care staff only.
