Care and Support for People in Their Homes Survey

Please find link (https://forms.office.com/e/GESNFL1TNw) and PDF attached to our survey for Care and Support for People in Their Home (covering those receiving home care in their own homes and in extra care settings). Do share among your networks if this will help get the message out to service users and increase the response rate. All service users with home care and in ECH will have been posted the paper survey but we are encouraging online responses where possible.

Closing date for both online and paper surveys is 1st March, please contact matthew.jordan@southglos.gov.uk if you have any questions.

Younger People With Dementia Services

We are currently looking to develop our services that support younger people with dementia. Like all people with dementia, younger people may experience a wide range of symptoms, especially in the early stages of dementia. However, they are likely to need different support to older people. As a local authority we are looking to work with our current providers to grow the range of services we commission to support younger people with dementia in South Gloucestershire. For example, care home, extra care homes, supported living, community-based support, short breaks, shared lives and day care.

If you would be interested in developing your current service or creating new services, we would like to invite you to join us at a discovery event with a range of stakeholders to cultivate ideas and share experience to shape our commissioning plans.

We will hold a provider event in March 2024 please can you express an interest in attending this event by sending your contact details to Matthew.Britt@southglos.gov.uk
