What is this course about?
This qualification has both competence and knowledge based units and meets the Skills for Care qualification in England after being developed in consultation with employers. This qualification is designed for those who wish to work or are already working in health and social care settings in England. A certified City and Guilds course. The qualification will endorse your competencies for senior-level roles in hospitals, domiciliary care, community support and other care settings.
Who is this course for?
Learners will need to be working, volunteering or on practical placement and need to be aged 19 plus, resided in the UK or Ireland for the past 3 years and be their first Level 3 qualification. They need to show competence in both knowledge, skills and behaviours. To be in a senior role, key worker role, personal assistant or working towards the roles, senior-level roles in hospitals, domiciliary care, community support and other care settings and will be fully work based learning.
