Clinical Update (May 2021)

In May we hosted a specialist clinically-focused workshop, aimed at those with responsibility for supporting the health of people in care services. In the session, we were joined by Laura Picton from CQC, who provided an update on planning oxygen, pulse oximetry and delegation of nursing tasks, ESP, insulin administration. 

Gavin Ford from GetUBetter, Mandy Hendy from Belvedere Lodge, and Karin Bronlie from Frenchay House talked to us about using the GetUBetter self-management app, which helps residents and staff with Musculoskeletal problems.

Sarah Ambe and Ashleigh Fox from Leaf Complex Care and Nurseline Community Services also spoke to us about health and wellbeing for those supported in the community.
