The following policy updates have been curated from the week commencing 9th May 2022.
General Updates
Safeguarding Subgroup
is anyone who would like to join the Safeguarding Adults Policies and Procedures subgroup to represent the independent care sector in North Somerset. The purpose of the group is to discuss and review NSC safeguarding policies and procedures. The Subgroup meets quarterly with a monthly editorial group in between. You would need to commit to attending at least the quarterly meeting but would be invited to attend any editorial meetings, where we actually work through and make any changes to the policies and procedures, where there was a policy of interest to you being reviewed.
We are looking for between 2 and 4 people, ideally covering both care homes and community-based care. If you are interested please email me at kate.bolger@n-somerset.gov.uk.
