IHSCM PowerHour: Housing Associations & their impact on Neighbourhood Health

  • 16th April, 11am-12pm, Microsoft Teams

In the first of our series on Neighbourhood Health, we are delving into the world of Housing Associations and the critical role they play across communities within the UK ️

This session will explore how housing associations create thriving communities that actively foster health and wellbeing through strengths-based approaches. Rather than focusing solely on needs and deficits, this session will highlight how identifying and mobilising the assets, talents and relationships already present within communities can transform outcomes for individuals and services alike

Grounded in practical experience we are delighted to welcome Keiron Montague from Trivallis Housing — which manages over 10,500 homes across South Wales and Anthony Morrow from Sanctuary – established for over 50 years, who provide housing and care in England and Scotland to more than a quarter of a million people. This session will showcase how asset-based principles are being applied in real-world settings.

Attendees will gain insight into how housing providers, social care leaders and community partners can work alongside residents to build resilient, connected neighbourhoods where people and communities flourish.

Don’t miss this opportunity to discover how leading housing associations are transforming neighbourhoods into vibrant, healthy communities - join us to be inspired by real-world strategies for improving Neighbourhood Health
