Welcome to your November-December 2026 issue of the IHSCM Hub Update e-letter, Keeping You In The Loop.

In this issue, I will provide an update on our upcoming events and new short course masterclasses. We are excited to be celebrating 125 years of the IHSCM in 2027 and would love to have our hubs involved - more details below!

125 Years of the IHSCM

We are proud to celebrate IHSCM's 125th Anniversary in 2027 and would love for our Hub Partners to contribute stories, photographs, documents, artefacts, historical records, research, reflections, and case studies that help tell the story of leadership, management, and healthcare delivery over the past 125 years.

We are particularly interested in:

  • Historic photographs and archive material.

  • Leadership and management stories from across health and care.

  • Organisational milestones and innovations.

  • Personal reflections from current and former leaders.

  • Articles exploring how leadership, governance and workforce development have evolved.

  • Examples of major service, policy or organisational change.

  • Materials that could support timelines, exhibitions, digital heritage features and social media campaigns.

Potential opportunities to contribute include:

  • Articles for The Loop, our quarterly e-magazine.

  • Archive and heritage features.

  • Speaker opportunities for monthly events on themes and functions within health and social care (comparing now and then).

  • Case studies and interviews.

  • Timeline and exhibition content.

  • 125 Voices of Leadership campaign.

If you or your organisation have materials, stories, contacts or expertise that could support the programme, we would love to hear from you.

Together, we have a unique opportunity to honour the past, celebrate the present, inspire the next generation of health and social care leaders, and be part of a legacy.

Quarterly Hub Meeting

Our next meeting is scheduled for Friday 11th December, 12-1pm,

where we’ll share the latest updates, answer your questions, and hear what’s on your mind. We’d love to see you there!

If your hub has recently migrated to a new email address, please ensure that a communication is sent to all staff asking them to update their email address on their IHSCM member profile. This helps us maintain accurate records and ensures members continue to receive updates, resources, and event information without interruption.
