Great News! The 2nd Don’t Fall Walk Tall event is coming up.

We probably all know someone that ‘furniture walks’ around their home, that’s started to shuffle instead of picking their feet up. Or, maybe have started showing signs of not hearing or seeing as good as they used to. Another common one too is not drinking a lot of fluid because they don’t want to keep making those trips to the loo! All these signs could possibly lead to a fall and then ongoing medical issues, not to mention a stay in hospital.

But they can be prevented and aren’t just a sign of old age that people have to get used to.

On Wednesday September 27th there will be loads of advice and information available to help prevent people from falling and jeopardising their ongoing independence.
