Being held on 24 May at 01:15pm, Dr Dobson will be sharing her findings of the UK consensus on pregnancy in multiple sclerosis (MS), published in the British Medical Journal in 2018.
The consensus was created to enable clearer guidance for people living with MS during pregnancy and to encourage these conversations between clinicians and expectant parents. Topics such as disease-modifying treatments (DMTs) are covered, giving people a chance to make informed decisions about the DMTs and options available to them when it comes to family planning.
The session will cover areas in the guidelines, which includes
Pregnancy counselling
Management during pregnancy
Delivery and anaesthetic options
Postpartum advice
Disease-modifying drugs
Dr Dobson will also be providing the latest updates on the research and developments that have progressed since the consensus was first published. Click here to book this session.
