Making a Difference – TODAY

Purpose of the Learning Event: 

1. Engage multi-professional stakeholders involved in patient care across BNSSG 

2. Value patient time as the most important currency in healthcare 

3. Share progress and updates from joint-organisation wide projects 


Making a Difference – Today: 

This one day workshop will examine the TODAY model for change. Participants from multi-professional backgrounds will explore the components of TODAY applied to their own work areas. This introduction to the framework is designed to help participants think about their role and impact and how they can influence both care and their workplace for the better. 

During the afternoon session on this day there will be an opportunity for colleagues in the BNSSG system to showcase and celebrate projects from organisations in BNSSG that include joint and cross-organisational working.

Who can attend? 

  • Clinical and operational colleagues who may be directly or indirectly involved in patient care across BNSSG, including but not limited to: 

  • Patients/carers representatives 

  • GP’s/Practice Managers/Practice Nurses 

  • NHS provider staff – Nursing, Medical, AHPs, Healthcare Scientists, Operational staff [UHBW, Sirona, NBT, AWP, SWASFT] 

  • Local authority/ Social care partners [Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire] 

  • Nursing and residential home staff 

  • HEE and HEI partners [HEE SW, UWE, UoB] 

  • Relevant third sector organisations/community champions 

  • Commissioners [BNSSG CCG, BNSSG ICS]
