Coaching Resource Library
Coaching resources to support health, wellbeing and workforce development
Coaching can be a valuable tool for supporting personal development, wellbeing, leadership and positive conversations in the workplace.
This resource library brings together a collection of coaching tools, guides and materials for people working across health and social care.
Many of these resources were originally made available through the BNSSG Supercharging Coaching programme and have been shared with Care & Support West so that they can continue to be accessed following the conclusion of the programme.
Whether you're a manager, leader, Health & Wellbeing Champion or simply interested in introducing more coaching approaches into your organisation, you can explore and download the resources below.
What is coaching?
Coaching is about listening deliberately, asking great questions and helping people find their own way forward. It can help us see things differently, build resilience and awareness, develop clarity and purpose, and make positive choices.
Coaching can support you through changes in your role, health and wellbeing challenges, leadership development, appraisals and line management, or while working towards personal and career goals.
What does coaching involve?
Coaching combines questions, challenge, reflection and support. It is focused on your goals and growth, helping you consider options and make decisions for yourself.
It isn't about giving you the answers or telling you what to do, and it isn't the same as mentoring, counselling or therapy. Coaching can be valuable to anyone, regardless of role, seniority or aspirations.
