2000 nurse apprenticeships - Devon - Cornwall - BNSSG

Dear all,

Hopefully by now you are aware that employers (who provide NHS Commissioned Services) within Devon, Cornwall and BNSSG ICB regions are eligible to put in an EoI to receive some of the funding for the 2000 nurse apprenticeships that is on offer.

Detail around the EoI process is beginning to come through and rather than just send out an email (which is likely to raise a lot of queries) I thought it might be useful to set up a call to go through the eligibility and EoI process, and to provide an opportunity for you to ask questions.

I am setting up two opportunities to join a call (you only need to join one) and I will record at least one of the sessions:

  •  Thursday 4th June, 12-12.45 OR

  • Friday 5th June, 12.30-1.15

The deadline for EoI will be the end of June.

Please forward on invites/comms to wider colleagues as appropriate and necessary and feel free to give me a call with any queries that can’t wait until next week.

Eligible organisations will include:

  • NHS Trusts

  • PVIs and charities

  • PH services including local authorities

  • Primary Care

  • Integrated Health and Social Care organisations

In the meantime, it’s worth you making sure now that you are clear on your current forecast baseline for nursing apprentices (all fields) as funding will only be available for activity that is above existing plans, as it’s focussed on support for expansion and not to replace existing funding available.
