SW ADASS: Flyer LGBTQ+ inclusion home care study
DO YOU WORK IN HOME CARE IN ENGLAND OR WALES? WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
WHO ARE WE?
Researchers from the LEAP study. This study is about getting a better understanding of how prepared people working in home care (or domiciliary care) are to support older (60+) LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer) people in England and Wales.
WHO CAN TAKE PART?
Anyone working in a paid role in home care (carers or managers) in England or Wales and providing support to older people 60+ years. It does not matter if you have experience caring for older LGBTQ+ people or not.
WHAT ARE WE ASKING YOU?
To complete an anonymous, online survey to understand your views about providing help and support to older LGBTQ+ people in their homes. This will take 10-15 minutes.
Did you know the CQC and Social Care Wales encourage home care workers to be involved in research? Taking part also counts towards CPD/ training requirements.
