Skills for Care Update

You may have seen the press release in  which Wes Streeting committed £12M funding for adult social care courses and qualifications, including the new L5 Digital Leadership award.

This is via the Learning and Development Support Scheme (L&DSS), which enables employers to claim up to £1,540 per learner towards the new level 2 Care Certificate for example.

Eligibility for the above includes having an up-to-date Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set (ASC-WDS) account.  If your organisation does not have an account then registering for an ASC-WDS account takes just minutes and other benefits of having an account include the ability to benchmark against other local providers, using it as evidence for CQC, a free training matrix tool as well as the data informing decisions made by the Department of Health and Social Care.

If you would like more information about the above, or the free support available to you from Skills for Care, then please get in touch with  Keryn Morris.
