Would you know how to respond to a cyber-attack?
Join Digital Care Hub for this new interactive webinar series launching in February, where we’ll simulate a hacker targeting a care provider with a cyber attack. Sign up and learn together how to protect your organisation from cyber threats in a safe, engaging environment. This will be co-hosted with the Cyber Resilience Centres.
We have launched this webinar series for 3 regions in the UK, however, you are welcome to attend even if you are based outside of these regions. You will still benefit from them and be able to participate.
Bring Your Own Device Adult Social Care Survey
The Better Security, Better Care programme is conducting research to better understand the prevalence and experiences of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies in the adult social care sector. We have launched a survey to explore how staff use devices, whether employer-provided or personal – including computers, tablets, and smartphones.
We are looking for input from a wide range of participants, including staff and organisations that both do and do not use their own devices. Your responses will help us develop recommendations and guidance in collaboration with our partners at The PSC.
Free eLearning for data security and protection leads
Digital Care Hub launches first free eLearning programme for senior data protection leads in social care.
Building on the success of Digital Care Hub’s elearning for all staff, the Hub has developed a more advanced course specifically for those with senior level responsibility for data security and protection. The training reflects real-world scenarios across care homes, supported living, home care, and community services, covering all client groups. It was developed and tested in partnership with care providers.
