Employer Support - Skills Bootcamps
Skills Bootcamps, Bristol City Council are inviting Health & Social Care employers to participate in an upcoming session with learners.
When:
Friday 28th Nov next week
4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
The Park, Daventry Rd, Knowle BS4 1DQ
This will be the final week of the current programme. Many of the learners are already employed within the Health & Social Care sector and are seeking opportunities to develop their careers further. Others are actively looking for employment within the sector and would greatly benefit from meeting potential employers.
The event aims to showcase the diversity of care services and career pathways available, while also helping learners understand recruitment processes and paperwork—areas they often find challenging. By reducing these barriers, we hope to support them in successfully securing roles within their chosen field.
How you can help:
Attend the session to promote your organisation and share insights into career development opportunities.
Discuss the differences between job descriptions and person specifications and explain how these documents guide applicants in tailoring their applications effectively.
If possible, conduct informal interviews or provide guidance on your recruitment process.
Share any current vacancies you may have and resources to assist with the applications.
Your involvement would make a significant impact on these learners’ progression and confidence.
Please let us know if you or a colleague would be available to join us on either date.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to support the next generation of Health & Social Care professionals.
