Dementia and end of life care - Thursday 9th May 1pm - 2pm

All are welcome to join the Dementia and End of Life NHSE SW teams to hear about the importance of early discussion with carers and relative about planning end of life care for people with dementia. We have the Admiral Nurse from Dorothy House Hospice in Bath talking on this subject. She will explain the Dorothy House model of care for dementia and will also cover symptom recognition and pain control. Esther will start the session with a presentation and there will be plenty of time for questions and answers with opportunity to share your experiences.

This is an MS Teams meeting, Thursday 9th May 1pm – 2pm as part of Dying Matters Awareness week. People can join virtually so please forward this invite on to colleagues who support people on the dementia pathway in both statutory and non-statutory organisations.

We are really looking forward to progressing the conversations on this very important subject of dementia and end of life care. Please contact either myself, Helen or Kath if you need any additional information.
