The BSW are delighted to announce we are now open to take bookings for our second Careers support workshop in BSW.

Across BSW, we offer a range of exciting and rewarding careers.  Unlike any other sector we also support interesting and often funded career development opportunities for young people.

But helping all of our schools and school students know about this is a challenge!

• Did you know most young people make some sort of judgement an choice about their future career aspirations at the age of 8 or 9?

• Did you also know across health and care we have almost 400 different roles and careers?

• Did you also know we have more routes than ever before into our career - such as T levels and apprenticeships?

This fully funded workshop can help

If you are a new or aspiring careers ambassador, NHS careers Ambassador or icare ambassador, a Learning and development or Widening participation Lead, a schools enterprise lead or anyone who supports work experience and careers activities across BSW then this workshop is a must!

Presentations will include hints and tips, as well as resources, to support you in your careers activities.  It will address how to engage younger children and prepare you with a number of activities you can deliver for the right engagement at each age group.

The day will include fully refreshments and lunch with free parking on site. (we will email you before the event to check if you have any dietary requirements)
