Suicide prevention learning briefing for care homes
Dear Providers,
Suicide in care homes is rare. This means that it can be a challenge for providers to know how to respond. In 2021, North Somerset Safeguarding Adults Board Published the attached learning briefing for the attention of care providers. I am taking an opportunity today to reinforce the messages attached by asking you to familiarise yourself with the document and its recommendations in an attempt to support you to manage risk and to improve outcomes for the people we support.
