Safety alert: carbon monoxide monitoring in the workplace
Following the tragic deaths at a care home in Swanage where carbon monoxide is thought to have been the cause, we wanted to remind clients about reducing the risk of carbon monoxide leaks.
Business owners need to make sure carbon monoxide alarms are installed and maintained properly, and that any gas or oil-burning appliances are serviced regularly to make sure they’re still safe for use. Plus, you need to be aware of the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning.
