Workforce Development Fund - Funded qualifications and learning

Don’t miss the opportunity to access funding for learning and development

The Workforce Development Fund (WDF) is funding from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) that’s distributed by Skills for Care. It supports the continuing professional development (CPD) of staff across the adult social care sector by providing a contribution towards the cost of vocational learning.

Employers who have previously accessed the fund reported that the quality of care they provide has improved as a direct consequence of the WDF.

The fund will continue to provide funding for completion of a broad range of qualifications, apprenticeships, learning programmes and digital learning modules, completed between 1 January 2022 and 31 May 2023.

The funding will support registered managers and other frontline managers with their CPD, ensuring that they’re able to access learning opportunities to continue to develop their knowledge and skills to effectively lead and support the workforce.

Sign up to access the funding by 28 February 2023. Don’t miss out!
