Ward rounds and Enhanced Health in Care Homes

Attached is the contract GPs receive for delivering enhanced support for residential and nursing homes. The contract stipulates there should be training to support social care and there needs to be some policies in place...... It would be useful for our Nurse Ambassadors to hear views about how this is benefiting you as social care providers. We are interested in developing a view on how the enhanced health in care homes project is benefiting providers and improving overall health of residents.  Wendie and Sarah (our social care Nurse Ambassadors) are also interested in scoping possibilities of upskilling of staff in care homes to further support this project.
