ICS Workforce Redesign Vacancies
Are you looking for an opportunity to make a big difference to our NHS and care services across our Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Integrated Care System (ICS) in this exceptional time in history? As we continue with our journey of recovery for services and staff, never before have has there been a chance for you to make your mark!
It is critical we are able to drive our strategic workforce and transformation agenda across all parts of our system – including acute, community, primary, mental health and social care – enabling new roles, new ways of working and new career paths. This Support Worker Workforce Redesign Facilitator will work across our system to transform the way in which we attract, retain and develop our various support workers roles through the co-ordination and development of new and innovative workforce models and pathways.
Our support workers in health and care are critical to delivering care to patients, whether in social care, primary care, community, or in hospitals. In this role you will create sustainable solutions which will help recruit and retain our support workers, working alongside clinicians and managers across health and care to provide operational leadership, project management, data and evidence and stakeholder engagement, to create new career pathways to attract and retain support workers.
You will need to be a dynamic individual with a positive and proactive approach and be able to develop rapport with stakeholders quickly. Previous NHS or social care experience isn’t necessary, however a good understanding of strategic NHS and Social Care issues, priorities, service developments and workforce implications will be key. Applications from individuals from a clinical or social care background are particularly welcome!
Informal conversations about this role which is currently home based (with a requirement to be able to attend a Bristol based office if needed) are very welcome – as are applications for flexible working. Please get in touch with Taylor Pryer-Freeman, People Programme Manager on t.pryer-freeman@nhs.net.
Closing date is 29th Nov. Shortlisted candidates will be then provided with information about the selection and interview process.
