Latest Government PPE Guidance

22/4/20
There was an error in contact data that we gave in the mail on Monday. Harriet Soderberg has asked us to clarify with you that the following procedures are the ones you must follow:

  • The guidance that we have received is clear that you need to continue to try to source PPE from your usual supply routes.

  • Please contact your Local Authority if you are struggling to obtain PPE:

  • If you are unable to access PPE via your usual supplier, you have exhausted all other options and you have run out of PPE, please contact the National Supply Disruption Response (NSDR): Telephone: 0800 915 9964

  •  We have received feedback from some providers letting us know that, when they have contacted the NSDR, they have been directed to contact the Local Resilience Forum (LRF). In BNSSG, our LRF are working very closely with our Local Authorities. This is why we are now asking for providers to let their Local Authority know they are having issues with PPE before they contact the NSDR.
