Recruiting and retaining the nursing workforce within the social care sector is now more important than ever.

This series of webinars is designed for those invested in the social care nursing workforce and may be relevant for the nursing workforce, student nurses and nursing associates, as well as social care employers, educators, academics and workforce leads.

With input from key stakeholders, the webinars will explore best practice around the recruitment and retention of the nursing workforce, including career opportunities, the new SIfE pathway, developing learning environments and supporting early careers nurses.

There are six sessions available for you to book onto, each covering a different topic or aspect of recruitment and retention for nursing in social care.
 

Using a preceptorship framework to support early career nurses and nursing associates in social care

This webinar will explore the national preceptorship framework with particular reference to social care to ensure the sector have access to a range of resources to support a positive experience of transition from student to newly qualified nurse or nursing associate. These resources may also be relevant for nurses returning to practice or internationally educated nurses working in the UK for the first time.

Exploring quality improvement for nurses in social care
