A message on our registration processes
Dear colleagues,
For your information, the CQC are sharing an update on their registration processes with all providers. From 18 November, they will no longer be accepting registration applications via the provider portal.
They want to support providers where theycan and minimise any impact as a result of this change.
To do that:
On 4 November, the CQC will contact providers to tell them that they will no longer be accepting registration applications via the portal from Monday 18 November.
Instead, they will only accept new applications via the application forms on their website. NB. The application forms on these website pages will be updated on Monday 4 November.
CQC registration colleagues will aim to minimise the need for providers to have to resubmit any applications using the Word document by only rejecting applications which have fundamental errors.
They will also be sending a specific message to any providers who have applications currently in process and letting them know that they must submit their application by 18 November. The communications will set out what providers need to do in different scenarios.
